Whilst addressing the issues for denture wearers implant were and remain an expensive alternative option with standard dental insurance available usually excluding cover for dental implants.
In 1999 we designed a specific and bespoke protection for dental implant patients and since then we have worked with major insurers, CIGNA Healthcare and Europ Assistance and some smaller bespoke insurers to offer patients an insurance cover to protect the investment they have made in their smile.
The Dental Insurance Partnership Ltd was incorporated in March 2006 (having previously traded as Implantology Services Ltd) and our company registration number is 05734966.

Dental Implants are the most expensive dental treatments and whilst most dentists will claim success rates over 90%:
So the key benefit is that if your implant fails or loses integration or you suffer a blow to your mouth that damages your implant or attached prostheses, the policy will pay for the required remedial up to the maximum limit of indemnity – £2,500 per implant
If your implant fails or loses integration or you suffer a blow to you mouth that damages your implant or attached prostheses, the dental policy from the Dental Insurance Partnership will pay for the required remedial work up to the maximum limit of indemnity – £2,500 per implant.
Dental implants fill the gap of missing teeth. The treatment is a two phase procedure.
Each implant and attached prostheses (crown, bridge) is covered up to £2,500 (maximum limit of indemnity).
If you have more than 1 implant the limit of indemnity increases x the number of implants you have, for example if you have 2 implants the cover will increase to £5,000.
If the implant has not integrated sufficiently for the restoration (placing the crown on top) the implant is usually removed and replaced with a new implant.
Or if the implant was to lose integration (for example if you have an abscess) the policy will meet the remedial treatment cost of removing the implant, replacing with a new implant and restoring the implant with a new crown or bridge.
In addition the policy cover “Extra-oral Trauma” and impact from outside the mouth that damages you’re the implant or attached prostheses (crow, bridge or denture)
Our cover meets the remedial treatment costs up to the policy indemnity to get you back into the position prior the integration loss or failure or accident
For the full policy wording see > DIP Policy Terms
If you received your dental implant treatment abroad we will provide cover on the following basis providing the remedial treatment is undertaken in the UK and cover is requested prior to travel.
Please be aware that UK dentists are reluctant to rectify issues when the original dental work has been conducted abroad.
